TRUE MIND’s story began in September 2006, when Vlad, Anna, George, Novac & Ştefan started a new Melodic/Symphonic Metal band in Brasov, Romania.

The band’s debut took place at the “Gaudeamus” International Festival in Braşov, where Anna won the special award for the “Best Vocalist in a Group”. The next recital was at a Halloween party, followed by a mention received at the “JoyArt” International Festival. The real concert debut was on the 27th of January 2007, in a “Rock Marathon” in Braşov with other 4 Romanian bands (Seven, Rising Shadow, Loudrage and Katharsis).
On the 13th of April 2007, TRUE MIND performed at the event „Days of Braşov City”, in front of more than 1500 people and broadcasted live on a local TV station. Unfortunately, this was the last concert with Ştefan on Guitars, who left the band for personal reasons. After more than three months, Horia joined TRUE MIND and new songs were on the way.
In July 2007, the song “Angel Or Sin” was included on the CD “Support for the Underground” of the “Maximum Rock Magazin. Others concerts followed: Braşov, Zărneşti, Caransebeş (RockLand Fest 3) Bucharest and again in Braşov, opening for Krypton.
The 17th of November 2007 was the day of the release of TRUE MIND’s official website, www.truemind-rock.com , which took place within the International Festival “JoyArt”.
On the 29th of February 2008, a great concert took place in Arad, and on the 10th of May, TRUE MIND performed during the anniversary festival “After One Year” in Live Metal Club, in Bucharest, with Bucovina and Ashaena.
On the 29th of March 2008, TRUE MIND’s first official video was released. The video of the song “Tainted Angel” consists of live images and graphic elements. This song has been included on the 5th volume of Maximum Rock Magazine’s CD “Support for the Underground”.
“Tainted Angel” is also the first track on the debut EP, “No More Silence”, that has been released on the 29th of May 2008, consisting of 4 original TRUE MIND songs. Some of the most important on-line rock magazines in Romania wrote reviews of the EP.
In September 2009, Alex Novac, the initial bassist of the band, left to France for studies. He was successfully replaced by Dragoş, who adapted very well with the rest of the band.
Other concerts followed in Braşov, Bucharest (Magic Tales of a Winternight, Rock Marathon, Super Metal Live 5 – with Magica, Tiarra, Inopia and Fortress Of Faith), Arad, again Braşov (opening for Trooper), Reşiţa, Lugoj, Galaţi, Braşov, Bacău, Cluj-Napoca, Cernavodă (Rock River Festival), Predeal (East European Motor Show – with Cargo, Trooper, Highlight Kenosis), Costineşti (Youth Rock Festival), Poiana Braşov (Rock Out Loud Festival).
Unfortunately, after this last concert, Horia (guitar) and George (drums) left TRUE MIND for personal reasons.
Very soon, Marius (guitar), Dodo (guitar) and Tero (drums) joined us, starting a new era in the life of TRUE MIND, with a bigger better sound (two guitars now).

The new line-up made it\'s debut on the 13
th and 14
th of November 2009, with 2 concerts - one in Sighisoara and one in Brasov, followed by Magic Tales Of A Winternight II in Bucharest on the 27th on November and a concert in Reghin, on the 5th of December.
In February 2010, the new improved TRUE MIND official website, at the old adress, www.truemind-rock.com , but with a new look and a new concept.
Many concerts followed, in Bacău, Buşteni, Bucureşti, Tg. Mureş, Cluj-Napoca, Făgăraş, Buzău, Petroşani, Predeal, Vaslui and Braşov.
A special moment for us was the first appearance of TRUE MIND on the line-up of the oldest rock festival in Romania, Top T Festival. It was a magnificent experience.
The whole spring was wonderful, but things started to turn around during the summer, leading to the sad moment of the departures of Dodo (guitar) and Tero (drums). They stopped believing in our future and they decided to part ways.
Still, they performed with us in OST Metal Battle, where we won our chance to play on the stage of OST Mountain Fest 2011.
Tero was the replaced by Dragoş Căţeanu, founding member of the local band Beyond Life. In February 2011 we had our first gigs in this once again new line-up and we started working on new songs.
The story carries on...
